Welcome to the website of the Pleasant Hill Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. Pleasant Hill is a small unincorporated community in Eastern Wilkes County with a population of 1,109. We cover a 16 square mile fire district that is bordered on the South East by the Town of Elkin; on the North East by State Road; on the North by Austin; and on the West by the Town of Ronda. We currently operate 6 pieces of apparatus out of one station with 34 active firefighters, 3 EMT-Basic, 1 EMT-Intermediate, 1 EMT-Paramedic, 11 medical responders, and 6 junior firefighters. |
